Ancient native bush is flourishing
Another successful community planting last week at Awhitu Central reserve - grateful thanks to the many helpers who made short work of the hundreds of plants which are now settling into their new home. For those of you who have been following our community planting to protect and extend the edges of this ancient bush and wetland, here are some photos taken this year - we started planting in 2010 and all the effort over 6 years has been worth it, to walk through it now. So healthy! Thanks team!
