Bursting at the Seams

Volunteers continued to be busy tending to our nursery plants throughout the summer break.  Luckily one job they didn’t have to manually carry out during the long dry spells was watering – our irrigation system at the nursery has worked extremely well, resulting in thousands of incredibly healthy plants ready to be planted out this autumn / winter.  A credit to our volunteers, especially as this has been the first full year of growing in our new nursery and we have all been on a steepish learning curve. If you are in Matakawau and our open sign is on the street, please feel free to pop in and have a look around.  You don’t have to lend a hand – but we won’t stop you either!  :-)
